米兰体育 13 WEATHER. YOU KNOW, ONCE WE GET RID OF THESE COLD TEMPERATURES THIS MORNING, WE鈥橵E GOT A BEAUTIFUL DAY VERY SIMILAR TO YESTERDAY. BUT THEN A LOT OF TEMPERATURE SWINGS IN THE SEVEN DAY FORECAST AND SOME STORMS TOO. YEAH THURSDAY IS AN IMPACT DAY AS WELL. AND WE DID MAKE TODAY AN IMPACT DAY. BUT IT鈥橲 REALLY JUST GOING TO BE FOR A FEW HOURS THIS MORNING. AND REMEMBER WE PUT THE IMPACT SYMBOL ON OUR GRAPHICS OR WE DECLARE IT AN IMPACT DAY WHEN THE WEATHER IS GOING TO BE INCONVENIENT AND IT鈥橲 GOING TO BE INCONVENIENTLY COLD FOR A FEW HOURS THIS MORNING. BUT THEN AFTER THAT, GOOD STUFF. THURSDAY IS ALSO AN IMPACT DAY BECAUSE OF SOME STORMY WEATHER. WE RESERVE THAT ALERT ICON THOUGH, WHEN WE鈥橰E EXPECTING WIDESPREAD STRONG, SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. THAT鈥橲 NOT GOING TO BE THE CASE ON THURSDAY, EVEN THOUGH WE COULD HAVE A FEW STRONGER STORMS. SO AGAIN TODAY IT鈥橲 JUST FOR A FEW HOURS BECAUSE OF THE FROST AND THE FREEZING COLD NUMBERS. THURSDAY WE鈥橵E GOT SOME STORMS THAT COULD PRODUCE SOME WIND AND HAIL. LET ME SHOW YOU OUR TEMPERATURES THROUGH THE DAY TODAY, AND YOU鈥橪L NOTICE, AS WE KIND OF HEAD TOWARD THE THE 10:00 HOUR, WE鈥橰E ALREADY IN THE 50S, SO WE鈥橰E GOING TO THAW OUT PRETTY QUICKLY ONCE THE SUN DOES COME UP, AND THEN WE鈥橪L WIND UP IN THE 60S, UPPER 60S, AND EVEN NEAR 70 THIS AFTERNOON. I WANT TO TALK ABOUT THURSDAY, THOUGH. WE MADE THURSDAY AN IMPACT DAY BECAUSE OF SOME STORMS THAT ARE GOING TO BE MOVING IN. IT IS NOT GOING TO STORM ALL DAY. AS A MATTER OF FACT, IT WILL BE CHILLY AGAIN TOMORROW MORNING. NOT AS COLD AS THIS MORNING. AND THEN TEMPERATURES START TO CLIMB INTO THE 60S AND 70S AT 1:00 LATE IN THE AFTERNOON INTO TOMORROW NIGHT. THERE WILL BE SOME QUICK MOVING STORMS THAT ROLL IN, AND SO WE鈥橪L START TO PUT THE IMPACT SYMBOL ON THE PLANNER AFTER 3:00, MAINLY FOR OUR NORTHERN COUNTIES. FOR SOME OF US, THE STORMS MAY NOT EVEN REACH US UNTIL AFTER THE SUN GOES DOWN, OR AT LEAST CLOSE TO SUNSET. SO 3 TO 7. THAT鈥橲 THE TIMING OF THOSE STORMS FOR THE NORTHWESTERN COUNTIES. TUSCALOOSA BIRMINGHAM TO ANNISTON. WE THINK THE STORMS ROLL THROUGH BETWEEN ABOUT SIX AND TEN AND BRYLEE. WHILE WE鈥橰E NOT EXPECTING WIDESPREAD SEVERE STORMS, SOME OF THOSE STORMS COULD BE KIND OF BUMPY. THEY COULD. WE CAN GUARANTEE HEAVY RAIN, SOME THUNDER AND LIGHTNING. COUPLE OF THESE STORMS COULD BRIEFLY REACH SEVERE LIMITS. AND THE THREATS THIS TIME DAMAGING WIND GUSTS, SOME ON THE ORDER OF 40MPH, PERHAPS SOME HIGHER GUSTS, AND THEN EVEN SOME HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE WHEN WE GET A COLDER AIR ALOFT. A LAYER OF COLDER AIR ALOFT. THAT IS THE LATEST FROM THE STORM PREDICTION CENTER. THEY HAVE PUT OUT A SLIGHT RISK AND THAT IS LEVEL TWO OUT OF FIVE OVER THE REALLY NORTHERN HALF OF ALABAMA. AGAIN, SOME STORMS COULD BE HEAVY, BUT THIS IS NOT A WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER EVENT. THEY COME THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON. I THINK THAT THEY MOVE ACROSS THE TENNESSEE VALLEY AS EARLY AS 3 P.M. AND THEN MAKE IT MAKE IT SOUTH CLOSER TO THE I-20 CORRIDOR. AS WE GET INTO THE LATER EVENING HOURS, LIKELY AFTER DARK, COULD BE 9:00 BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY GET TO THE BIRMINGHAM METRO. TUSCALOOSA CENTREVILLE, CALERA AND THEN OVER TOWARD TALLADEGA AND ANNISTON, CLAY COUNTY. THEY EXIT THROUGH MIDNIGHT. AND THEN I WANT TO SHOW YOU ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON, IT LOOKS LIKE WE GET A LITTLE BIT MORE CLOUD COVER TO PUSH SOUTH, AND WE MAY HAVE A LITTLE WAVE OF ENERGY THAT ACTUALLY BRINGS SOME SPOTTY SHOWERS LATE IN THE DAY ON FRIDAY, FRIDAY AFTERNOON INTO FRIDAY EVENING. I THINK THEY鈥橪L BE PRETTY SPOTTY AND LIGHT, BUT SOMETHING THAT MAY IMPACT YOUR PLANS ON FRIDAY. WE DO HAVE THE STALLIONS HOME OPENER THAT IS FRIDAY EVENING AT 7 P.M. TEMPERATURES ARE COOL OVER THE WEEKEND, BUT THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF SUNSHINE. SATURDAY WILL BE NICE. SUNDAY EVEN WARMER. PALM SUNDAY 73 DEGREES FOR THE FORECAST HIGH. AND THEN AS WE GET INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK, YOU CAN SEE TEMPERATURES REALLY REBOUND. WILL BE IN THE 80S AGAIN BY MONDAY. BACK TO YOU. ALL RIGHT.
