Teen charged in February murder of Huffman High School student

COUNTY JAIL. HE’S BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND, AND A TEEN IS NOW CHARGED WITH CAPITAL MURDER FOR THE SHOOTING DEATH OF A HUFFMAN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT, 18 YEAR OLD RONALD BENNETT. JUNIOR WAS FOUND DEAD IN HIS CAR ON EIGHTH TERRACE WEST. THAT WAS ON FEBRUARY 1ST. POLICE BELIEVE HE WAS TARGETED. THE IDENTITY OF THE 17 YEAR OLD SUSPECT HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED, BUT WE DO KNOW THAT HE IS IN THE ROSWELL JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER ON AN UNRELATED CHARGE. Just after midnight on Feb. 1, officers responded to Shot Spotter Alerts in the College Hills community.
