THE COLLEGE TAKING TO SOCIAL MEDIA THIS EVENING TO ASK THE COMMUNITY TO RALLY TOGETHER IN PRAYER FOR HANNAH SMITH. THEY SAY SHE鈥橲 CURRENTLY IN CRITICAL CONDITION IN THE BAHAMAS. 米兰体育 13 ERYN LEWELLYN SPOKE WITH SMITH鈥橲 LOVED ONES TONIGHT. WHAT DID THEY SAY HAPPENED TO HER? AARON. YEAH. SHERRI. EARLIER TONIGHT I TALKED TO HANNAH SMITH鈥橲 SISTER, ABIGAIL, AND SHE TOLD ME THAT HANNAH AND HER BEST FRIEND WENT ON A CRUISE TO CELEBRATE THEIR COLLEGE GRADUATIONS. THEY WERE DOING AN EXCURSION ON A BOAT WHEN HANNAH FELL OFF. NOW SHE鈥橲 FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE, BUT SHE鈥橲 LEANING ON FAMILY FROM NEAR AND FAR TO HELP HER GET THROUGH. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE TRIP OF A LIFETIME, CELEBRATING A HUGE MILESTONE. THERE WAS NO WAY SHE WENT FROM GRADUATING SUMMA CUM LAUDE LAST WEEK. AND THIS WEEK SHE鈥橲 IN CRITICAL CONDITION. ABIGAIL SMITH鈥橲 YOUNGEST SISTER, HANNAH, JUST GRADUATED FROM MILES COLLEGE. THE CALL SHE GOT FROM HANNAH鈥橲 BEST FRIEND ALL THE WAY FROM THE BAHAMAS BROUGHT HER WORLD TO A STANDSTILL IN THE ENERGY IN THE ROOM SHIFTED. I KNEW THAT WHATEVER WAS BEING SAID ON THE OTHER LINE OF THEIR PHONE WAS NOT SOMETHING THAT WE WERE PREPARED TO HEAR. HANNAH FELL OFF A BOAT DURING AN EXCURSION, LEAVING HER SERIOUSLY INJURED. I COULDN鈥橳, IT WAS ALMOST LIKE I FELT LIKE I WAS WENT INTO THIS DREAM STATE. EVEN DURING THIS NIGHTMARE FOR THE SMITH FAMILY WAS DEVASTATING. ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING, ABIGAIL SAYS THEY RECEIVED AN OUTPOURING OF SUPPORT. THERE鈥橲 NO WORDS TO THANK ANYBODY FOR THE WAY THAT THEY鈥橵E SHOWN UP FOR HER, BUT THERE鈥橲 STILL A LONG ROAD AHEAD. I TALKED TO ABIGAIL AND HANNAH鈥橲 BEST FRIEND, BROOKLYNN PETREY, WHILE HANNAH WAS STILL IN SURGERY ON TUESDAY. THEY TOLD ME HANNAH鈥橲 CONDITION IS STILL TOUCH AND GO. SHE STILL HAS HER WHOLE LIFE AHEAD OF HER. SHE鈥橲 VERY TALENTED, MULTIPLE. SHE鈥橲 AN ARTIST. SHE鈥橲 A TATTOO ARTIST, LIKE SHE ALL HER DREAMS, EVERYTHING THAT SHE WANTS TO DO IS STILL THERE. NOTHING HAS BEEN TAKEN AWAY FROM HER. NOW, HANNAH SAYS THAT ABIGAIL SAYS HANNAH OPENED HER EYES BEFORE SHE WENT INTO SURGERY EARLIER TODAY. SINCE SHE鈥橲 BEEN INJURED, SHE HAS LOST A LOT OF BLOOD AND IS O-NEGATIVE, WHICH IS RARE. THAT鈥橲 WHY THE HOSPITAL THAT HANNAH IS BEING TREATED AT IN THE BAHAMAS IS HOSTING A BLOOD DRIVE TO HELP HER WITH HER RECOVERY. LIVE HERE IN FAIRFIELD. AARON LEWELLYN, 米兰体育 13. SENDING A LOT OF PRAYERS TO HER FAMILY TONIGHT. WELL, THE FAMILY HAS A GOFUNDME SET UP TO HELP WITH HANNAH鈥橲 RECOVERY IN LES
