THE ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE ADDING TO A HISTORIC RUN IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT THIS WEEKEND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY OF THE TIDE鈥橲 MEN鈥橲 BASKETBALL PROGRAM, THEY HAVE REACHED THE FINAL FOUR, LEAVING ONLY ONE MORE GAME TO PLAY BEFORE THE CHAMPIONSHIP. The Alabama Crimson Tide added to a historic run in the NCAA tournament Saturday. For the first time in the Tide鈥檚 men鈥檚 basketball program, the team reached the Final Four 鈥� just one game away from playing in the championship.But that鈥檚 not the only milestone the team met this post-season. The Tide saw back-to-back Sweet 16 appearances for the first time since the 1990s and a second-ever appearance in the Elite Eight 鈥� the first one in two decades.For fans, it鈥檚 an outcome many never saw coming. There鈥檚 a lot of pressure to keep the momentum going, and fans hope to make a statement with L.A.N.K. 鈥� "Let All Naysayers Know鈥� 鈥� and they鈥檙e confident the team will prove itself on the court in their next big match up.鈥淚t鈥檚 just like so unreal that we鈥檙e able to go to college at the same time that we got in the Final Four for the very first time,鈥� Alabama student Sarah Cross said.Parker Lindmark is a lifelong Alabama fan.
