ARE FLOCKING TO THE AMERICAN VILLAGE. THE FESTIVAL OF TULIPS IN FULL BLOOM AND �� MYA CALEB IS LIVE IN MONTEVALLO AND MYA THIS WEEKEND. REALLY IDEAL FOR THE FESTIVAL OF TULIPS. YES, SCOTT. THAT’S CORRECT, BECAUSE THIS WEEKEND THERE WILL BE AN ANTICIPATED FULL BLOOM FOR THE TULIPS AND THERE WILL ALSO BE FOOD TRUCKS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR FESTIVAL GOERS TO ENJOY IF THEY’RE GOING TO BE AT THE FESTIVAL TOMORROW. AND THE FESTIVAL STARTED NINE YEARS AGO AS A WAY TO ATTRACT MORE VISITORS TO AMERICAN VILLAGE AND GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO VIEW AND TAKE HOME THE TULIPS. AMERICAN VILLAGE WENT FROM PLANTING 70,000 TULIPS FOR THE FESTIVAL TO 120,000. AND ONE VISITOR WE SPOKE WITH SAYS THIS YEAR WAS HER FIRST TIME GOING, BUT SHE’S EXCITED TO RETURN FOR THIS WEEKEND’S PEAK BLOOM. I’M GOING TO COME BACK THIS WEEKEND AND BRING MY GRANDDAUGHTER. SHE’S A FLOWER PERSON. I’M A I’M A BIG GARDENER AND SHE LOVES FLOWERS AND PLANTING WITH ME, SO SHE’LL ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS AND PROBABLY WANT ONE IN EVERY COLOR. AND THESE TULIPS ARE JUST A GLIMPSE AT WHAT YOU MAY SEE. IF YOU DO END UP COMING OUT THIS WEEKEND, AND EVEN SEEING A LITTLE BIT OF A BLOOM ITSELF WITH THIS ONE, BECAUSE THIS ONE WASN’T BLOOM WHENEVER I GOT IT THE DAY BEFORE. AND IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GO TO THE FESTIVAL OF TULIPS, YOU CAN GO MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY FROM 10 TO 4 OR SUNDAY FROM NOON TO FOUR.

The 9th Annual Festival of Tulips is taking place at the American Village in Montevallo, offering visitors a chance to pick flowers and enjoy various activities.The festival, which has grown from 70,000 to 120,000 tulips, aims to attract visitors during a typically slow period."Our turnout this year has been spectacular," said Melanie Poole, the communications officer with American Village. "People really respond to this event. They stalk us on social media. They're looking for that post that says, now open. And now after we've opened, they're looking for that post that says we're at peak bloom.
