A few spotty showers with a cold front Thursday and Friday, heavier rain in Alabama's Memorial Day weekend

A few spotty showers with a cold front Thursday and Friday, heavier rain in Alabama's Memorial Day weekend
WEEKEND THAT ARE EXPECTED TO BE IN THE 80S. THE NEXT TWO DAYS. HUMIDITY IS COMFORTABLE, BUT BOY DOES IT COME UP HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND ON SATURDAY. SATURDAY I THINK WILL BE A DAY WHERE WE HAVE THE LEAST AMOUNT OF COVERAGE. I DO THINK THERE WILL BE AT LEAST THE THREAT FOR SOME THUNDERSTORM COMPLEXES TO COME IN LATER IN THE DAY AND INTO SATURDAY NIGHT, AND SOME OF THOSE STORMS COULD BE RATHER STRONG, AND THEN WE鈥橪L LIKELY DEAL WITH ANOTHER WAVE OF OF THUNDERSTORMS. HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS ON SUNDAY, AND THEN MEMORIAL DAY LOOKS TO BE THE DAY WHERE WE COULD HAVE MAYBE A COUPLE OF WAVES, SOME COMING IN DURING THE OVERNIGHT PERIOD SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY, AND THEN PERHAPS AGAIN DURING THE DAY ON MONDAY. SO LET鈥橲 SHOW YOU THE FUTURE TRACK. AND LET ME BE CLEAR. THIS IS GOING TO CHANGE SOME OF OUR LONGER RANGE OR MEDIUM RANGE MODELS. DON鈥橳 DO A GREAT JOB OF MAPPING THESE OUT, ESPECIALLY IN THIS KIND OF A WEATHER PATTERN, BUT IT GIVES US A GOOD IDEA. YOU鈥橪L NOTICE DURING THE DAY SATURDAY. NOT TERRIBLY WIDESPREAD COVERAGE, BUT THOSE AREAS THAT GET SOME OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS, THEY WILL PACK A PUNCH AND THEN MORE OF THE SAME. ON SUNDAY THERE WILL BE ANOTHER WAVE OF SOME RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS THAT WILL LIKELY COME THROUGH, ESPECIALLY DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING, AND THEN DURING THE OVERNIGHT. THIS SHOWS ANOTHER ADDITIONAL WAVE WITH SOME HEAVY STORMS, AND THEN AGAIN DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS ON MONDAY. SO THE THEME IS THAT WE鈥橰E GOING TO HAVE SEVERAL WAVES OF HEAVY RAIN AND SOME STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS ROLL THROUGH OVER THE WEEKEND. RAIN TOTALS THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS COULD BE UPWARDS OF THREE AND FOUR INCHES SATURDAY. THE STORM PREDICTION CENTER DOES HAVE US UNDER A LOW END THREAT FOR A COUPLE OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. WIND AND HAIL WILL BE THE MAIN HAZARDS. THERE COULD EVEN BE SOME LOCALIZED FLOODING ISSUES TOO, WITH SOME OF THOSE HEAVIER STORMS, BUT I SUSPECT THAT WE WILL HAVE THIS THREAT LEVEL CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY AND MONDAY WITH THE WEATHER PATTERN PRETTY MUCH BEING THE SAME. SO BOTTOM LINE IS SOME STRONGER STORMS WITH GUSTY WINDS AND SOME HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE WEEKEND. HERE鈥橲 A LOOK AT OUR RAIN CHANCES. AND THOSE ARE GOING TO BE COMING UP MAINLY DRY THE NEXT TWO DAYS, BUT THEN WE鈥橪L DEAL WITH SOME OF THOSE STORMY PERIODS OVER THE
