Birmingham police are searching for an armed man they shot at while responding to a homicide Tuesday night.At about 8:20 p.m., police responded to a stolen vehicle in the housing community known as Vice Hills in North Birmingham. When they got there, an officer heard shots being fired inside an apartment.The officer confronted an armed suspect, according to police. During a confrontation, the officer shot at the suspect, who entered the passenger side of the stolen vehicle and then drove away with another suspect."We are unsure if our officer's shots struck the armed homicide suspect," police stated in a news release.>> THE LATEST: Headlines and weather from 米兰体育 13Officers followed the suspects until they found the vehicle abandoned in the 4100 block of Fairmont Place. Inside the apartment development, officers found 61-year-old Charlie Herbert Moore lying shot and unresponsive. Birmingham police are searching for an armed man they shot at while responding to a homicide Tuesday night.
