Body found inside car in Northport Walmart parking lot
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a deceased person inside a vehicle at a Walmart in Northport.
Assistant Chief Keith Carpenter of the Northport Police stated that at 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, dispatchers received information about a possible deceased person inside a vehicle parked in the Walmart parking lot at 5710 McFarland Blvd.
Officers arrived and found the body in a vehicle.
The scene and investigation were handed over to the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit.
There is no word if the death was considered suspicious.
