Elon Musk on Tuesday lashed out at President Donald Trump鈥檚 agenda bill 鈥� which the president is pressuring GOP senators to support 鈥� calling it a 鈥渄isgusting abomination.鈥濃淚鈥檓 sorry, but I just can鈥檛 stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination,鈥� the tech billionaire posted on X. 鈥淪hame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.鈥滺e added in a subsequent post: 鈥淐ongress is making America bankrupt.鈥漈his is not the first time Musk has attacked the bill. In an interview after the package was passed by Republicans in the House, Musk said he was 鈥渄isappointed鈥� in the massive bill, adding that it would increase 鈥渢he budget deficit, not just decreases it鈥� and undermine 鈥渢he work that the DOGE team is doing.鈥漌hite House press secretary Karoline Leavitt was asked about the post while briefing reporters Tuesday afternoon.鈥淟ook, the president already knows where Elon Musk stood on this bill,鈥� Leavitt said. 鈥淚t doesn鈥檛 change the president鈥檚 opinion 鈥� this is one big, beautiful bill and he is sticking to it.鈥滺ouse Speaker Mike Johnson on Tuesday forcibly pushed back against Musk鈥檚 criticism, arguing he is 鈥渢erribly wrong鈥� about the legislation.
