Iconic Hallmark Farm in Jefferson County has a new owner and future

Iconic Hallmark Farm in Jefferson County has a new owner and future
FORECAST. CHARI AND GUY. ALL RIGHT. JASON. WELL, A MAJOR TRANSACTION TODAY THAT WILL HAVE A MASSIVE IMPACT ON NORTH JEFFERSON AND BLOUNT COUNTIES. THE ALABAMA FARMERS FEDERATION PURCHASED THE HALLMARK FARM IN WARRIOR RIGHT OFF I-65. 米兰体育 13 S LISA CRANE SHOWS US THEIR PLANS FOR THE PICTURESQUE PROPERTY. HUNDREDS OF ACRES OF LUSH GREEN FIELDS, SEVERAL PONDS, AND OF COURSE, THE BIG WHITE BARN. ANYONE DRIVING THROUGH THE CENTER OF ALABAMA HAS LAID EYES ON THE HALLMARK FARM, SITTING YARDS FROM I-65 IN WARRIOR. IT鈥橲 LOOKED LIKE THIS FOR DECADES, BUT SOON IT鈥橪L LOOK LIKE THIS STATE OF THE ART AGRICULTURE CENTER. ALABAMA FARMERS FEDERATION OFFICIALLY BOUGHT THE PROPERTY TODAY, AND THAT HAS LOCAL LEADERS IN THIS AREA PRETTY EXCITED. THEY鈥橰E GOING TO HOST THINGS LIKE THE RODEO AND CATTLE SHOWS, BUT THEY鈥橰E ALSO GOING TO HAVE IT AS AN EDUCATIONAL CENTER WHERE THEY EDUCATE PEOPLE ON ALL THINGS FARMING AND ANIMALS. SO IT鈥橲 GOING TO BE A GREAT BOOSTER FOR THIS NORTH JEFFERSON COMMUNITY. THERE WILL BE MULTIPLE BARNS, AN EVENT CENTER, CAMPGROUNDS, AND PARK RIDES. THEY鈥橵E ALREADY HOSTED RODEOS HERE, AND YOU CAN EXPECT MORE OF THAT. MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT THE RODEO IS THEY LOOKED FOR LOCAL VENDORS TO BE AT THE RODEO. SO IT WAS AN OUTSIDE ENTITY COMING IN TO DO IT. BUT THEY BROUGHT IN LOCAL PEOPLE AND LET THEM SELL THEIR PRODUCTS, WHETHER IT WAS FOOD TRUCKS OR PRODUCTS. THE FARM CENTER WILL ALSO BE AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE. YOU CAN EXPECT A LOT OF FIELD TRIPS OUT HERE. NOW WE鈥橰E TALKING ABOUT BRINGING IN A LOT OF TRAFFIC. THAT鈥橲 A LOT OF PEOPLE TO SPEND MONEY WHERE THEY EAT AND STAYING IN HOTELS. BUT SOME IN THIS QUIET, SPARSELY POPULATED PART OF JEFFERSON COUNTY MOST LIKELY WON鈥橳 APPRECIATE THE ADDED TRAFFIC AND ATTENTION. BUT SOME LOCAL LEADERS SAY THEY鈥橰E HAPPY THE NEW USE FOR THIS PROPERTY IS IN LINE WITH ITS PAST AND WILL HELP THIS AREA GROW ECONOMICALLY. WE KNOW WHAT A JEWEL IT IS UP HERE, BUT IT鈥橲 NICE TO SEE OTHER PEOPLE RECOGNIZING IT AND THAT WE WERE CHOSEN FOR THIS FIRST OF ITS KIND FACILITY IN OUR STATE.
