There's a new acting sheriff in Calhoun County.The Alabama Sheriffs Association said Lynde Meeder was sworn in Tuesday as sheriff, replacing Matthew Wade, who retired effective April 1.Sheriff Meeder will serve until Gov. There's a new acting sheriff in Calhoun County.
