Not guilty. That was the plea for two people charged with capital murder of a foster child. Mason and Brooklyn Grimes were in court in Blount County Thursday in separate cases. Both are charged in the death of a child listed as a foster child of Mason Grimes. In a previous story, 米兰体育 reported that court documents state on Aug. 5, 2022, the child, then 3 months old, was placed into the Grimes' custody, where he "remained and flourished" for about a year.Then, on Sep. 25, 2023, the child was diagnosed with 鈥渕ultiple congenital disorders,' at Children's of Alabama, where a follow-up appointment was scheduled for Oct. 20.
