People hoping that during the Super Bowl half-time show weren't the only fans left disappointed. Many viewers took to Twitter to voice their opinions about Maroon 5's performance.
Fronted by Adam Levine, the band's gig involved assists from Travis Scott and a gospel choir, renditions of their hits like "Girls Like You" and "She Will Be Loved," a lot of awkward dancing and the singer eventually taking his shirt off to reveal his heavily tattooed torso.
called this bit a "last-ditch attempt at some gravitas after several minutes of unenthusiastic guitar-strumming and hip-gyrating" while said the whole thing was "too much for anyone with eyeballs to handle."

"Theory: They made this halftime this bad in order for the game to look good by comparison," person wrote, while added, "Did Maroon 5 just destroy their career?" A commented, "I love Maroon 5 but that performance sucked."
