Morgan Wallen walks off stage during 'Saturday Night Live' goodbyes
Country singer Morgan Wallen walked off stage during the "Saturday Night Live" closing remarks after performing as the musical guest on the show.
Hosted by Mikey Madison, Wallen was the musical guest on the latest episode of "SNL."
After performing his two songs, "I鈥檓 the Problem" and "Just in Case," Wallen said goodbye to Madison and then walked off stage directly into the camera during the cast goodbyes at the end of the show.
Later that night, Wallen posted a photo on Instagram of a jet on a tarmac with a caption that said, "Get me to God's country."
Sources told "" that the singer had a good time on SNL and that his exit and Instagram post meant nothing.
This was not Wallen's first appearance on SNL. However, the last time he performed on the show, there was also some controversy surrounding it.
In 2020, Wallen was originally booked to perform as the musical guest in October. However, in the days leading up to the show, Wallen was seen disregarding pandemic protocols and kissing women at a party where there were no masks.
Jack White replaced Wallen for that specific show, but Wallen came back in December to perform as the musical guest and made an appearance in a sketch making fun of him being replaced for breaking COVID-19 policies.
