Being at Auburn has meant everything. It's really been *** dream come true. To Samuel Dutton. I, I really feel like I'm at home and comfortable and you know I, I think there there's no doubt that this was the place. Home is where the heart. Thank you, thank you and his brother Andrew is. We've done everything together I guess is the best way to describe it. The pair just 15 months apart. We'd like try to get out of school some and. Uh, we just wanna stay home, play video games together, play Call of Duty together, so he's always just been kind of my best friend. From T ball to Westbrook Christian High School, they've always been together on the diamond until college. Andrew went to Birmingham Southern, Samuel to LSU. Definitely different and I thought it was good just kind of. Getting away and now being back together I'm like dang it would've been it would have been fun to go somewhere together from the start. With BSC closing, Andrew went into the portal and Samuel went in after looking for *** new opportunity. We really wanted to get together and uh you know when the opportunity presented itself, you know, we we knew we knew we couldn't pass that up. That opportunity was Auburn. We both put on the jersey and like changed in there and I was just like. Dang, like this is cool. Felt like home honestly it it felt felt right where I was supposed to be. *** move that not only brought the two of them together, but the whole family. Heaven I mean what you know to see your boys be together they were always together when they were young and now they get to continue that together on the field one last time. My lock screen is actually the picture of them when they were here at Westbrook the last day that they were in the same uniform together. So once at Auburn they were in that same uniform together that's now the picture on my screen. *** lot's changed since high school this year. Samuel has shined as the Tigers' ace. Andrews made his impact coaching first base and being *** support beam for Samuel. He's always been the one to encourage me like hey you can do this like you can go somewhere really big he's always been encouraging me so now that I get to be his biggest supporter in the dugout um means *** lot. Though he's still got that Dutton magic. *** home run in his first at bat. It was just almost like *** dream, you know I was just standing there watching it unfold um and all I could do is cry, of course. Just another storybook moment. It's always been meant to be, uh, God had *** plan from day one. This has been the best baseball experience I've probably ever had.
