President Donald Trump called the Supreme Court's ruling on the birthright citizenship case a monumental victory during a press briefing, highlighting its impact on his administration's ability to pass policies."Radical left judges effectively try to overrule the rightful powers of the president to stop the American people from getting the policies that they voted for in record numbers," Trump said. "It was a grave threat to democracy, frankly, and instead of merely ruling on the immediate cases before them, these judges have attempted to dictate the law for the entire nation."The president said that thanks to this decision, his administration can now promptly file to move forward with other policies that have been blocked by district court judges, including ending birthright citizenship and ending funding for sanctuary cities.
