City Assistant Manager Cinnamon McCulley told 米兰体育 13 News the affected section of road reopened at 7 a.m. May 21.
The road is 99 percent repaired, with only final striping remaining, which will be done after the new asphalt cures in a couple of weeks, McCulley said.
The road closure forced the cancellation of classes at Vestavia Hills Elementary West May 19 and 20.
McCulley said a clogged or eroded pipe may be the cause of the water runoff, leading to the eroded road.
