HER MOM, HARPERSVILLE NATIVE PAMELA MANN, SAYS PARRIS IS HER FIRST CHILD AND THAT NEITHER SHE NOR HER DOCTORS WERE ANTICIPATING PARRIS TO BE AS BIG AS SHE WAS ABOUT FOUR WEEKS AGO. A Shelby County mom got a big surprise when she welcomed her daughter into the world at Grandview Medical Center this week.Pamela Mann spoke with 米兰体育 13 News Wednesday, beaming with happiness with the arrival of her 13-pound, 4-ounce bundle of joy, named "Paris Halo."A moment of joy: News We LoveMann said that while her pregnancy went well, she and her doctors had no idea of the surprise in store for them when Paris Halo made her appearance."About four weeks ago... my doctor measured the baby at about eight pounds, come to find out she was way over what both were saying," said Mann.Mann said her family was amazed and excited and her mother was happy to have her first grandchild.Mann told us she expects to be back home with her daughter in the next two or three days.Watch the story of a baby born in the parking lot of a Dothan Krispy Kreme below.

Mann said that while her pregnancy went well, she and her doctors had no idea of the surprise in store for them when Paris Halo made her appearance.

"About four weeks ago... my doctor measured the baby at about eight pounds, come to find out she was way over what both were saying," said Mann.
