Saturday afternoon at the Steel Coupe in Livingston tends to be busy, and when *** customer has concerns about their food, manager Patrick Jones is usually there to fix the issue. Looks like somebody pulled *** *** lot of hair out of your uh out of their head and placed it right on your plate. That's awful. But as it turns out, the hair didn't come from his staff. Let's take *** look at the surveillance video from inside. You'll see this woman reach behind her head shortly after, the man with her reaches over and grabs what's there. Fast forward *** bit. The man places what was in his hand on his food. This was one that we're like, you know what, we should post this. People need to see that it's not always the restaurant that is wrong. Patrick originally took. That food off the bill and apologized, but *** customer sitting nearby let him know that the couple were the ones to blame. And when he checked that surveillance video and found out what actually happened, he ran out the front entrance here to try to catch them as they were leaving and he came around the corner to an interesting situation. And he was proposing to her on the on the side steps there and you know I stopped him and I said look don't don't come back here again. When owner Cindy Cooper saw the video, she knew she had to post it, especially to warn the other businesses in town. It's *** struggle for us and all of them. They don't need this kind of thing happening. That bill was only around $20 which we're told has since been paid by the family of those responsible. Cindy decided not to press charges. This is *** lesson for him, us and everybody. He'll just come and refund our money. We'll let this go away. But says restaurants need to pay attention.
