Two mothers and at least 3 children were involved in these cases. The women were registered with immigration agencies and were arrested during routine check-ins last week. The two mothers were sent to Honduras from Louisiana. They had children ages 24, and 7. Their attorneys and advocates say immigration officials gave them conflicting information about whether their children could remain in the US, and alleged legal challenges were filed, but the Trump administration deported them before those cases played out.
