In the first trip from a hotel in Boca Raton, Florida, to the airport, Uber cost $69.91 compared to Lyft鈥檚 $96.99, making Uber nearly $30 cheaper. However, Lyft arrived seven minutes earlier.
On the second trip to a restaurant, Lyft flipped the script, costing $40.99 compared to Uber鈥檚 $64.77, saving $24. Lyft also arrived eight minutes faster.
After multiple trips, Lyft totaled $169.97, $8.95 cheaper than Uber鈥檚 $178.92. Lyft also won on speed, arriving faster in two out of three trips.
The key takeaway? Don鈥檛 stick to one app. Always compare prices between Uber and Lyft to find the best deal for your ride.
