Military personnel and aircraft have been relocated from Florida as Hurricane Milton approaches.Information from Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery stated twenty-six U.S. Navy MH-60R Seahawks and about 200 personnel from the Sunshine State are now on base.The aircraft and personnel are from Naval Station Mayport and Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida.Maxwell AFB said the operation is to protect the men and women and aircraft from the potential impacts of Hurricane Milton and to ensure they can quickly return to their home base after the storm has passed.The visitors from Florida will continue to maintain their readiness and respond to situations when needed, said Maxwell AFB.
