Firefighters and support personnel continue efforts to contain a large wildfire in Shelby County.Capt. Grant Wilkinson with the Cahaba Valley Fire and EMR District told 米兰体育 13 News the wildfire broke out Saturday afternoon, and it continues to burn.The fire has burned 350 acres at this time, and is located on Double Oak Mountain, off Highway 41.Capt. Wilkinson said the fire has expanded over the mountain and may be approaching Highway 43 and the Caritas area.At this time, no homes are threatened by the fire, and no one has been hurt.Winds were strong Saturday, said Capt. Wilkinson, but they've seem calmer Sunday, which is helping in the firefighting efforts.Multiple agencies are assisting, including Vandiver Fire, ALEA's helicopter, and other forestry crews.
