NOW, ONCE COMPLETE, THE PROJECT WILL BE A 52 MILE INTERSTATE STRETCHING FROM I-59 IN NORTHEAST JEFFERSON COUNTY TO THE 459 INTERCHANGE NEAR BESSEMER. NOW, THIS PROJECT IS EXPECTED TO BRING A BIG BOOM TO NORTHERN JEFFERSON COUNTY, BUT IT鈥橲 ALSO GOING TO HELP DURING HOLIDAY WEEKS LIKE THIS TWO. WELL, ANYBODY THAT IS TRAVELING ON I-20 KNOWS HOW MANY TRUCKS ARE ON I-20 IN. IT鈥橲 DANGEROUS. YOU KNOW, WE GOT A MIX LOCAL TRAFFIC AND AND COMMUTER TRAFFIC BEATS GU-WIN TRAFFIC AND ALL THE TRUCKS.
