TONIGHT, BIRMINGHAM POLICE INVESTIGATING A SHOOTING IN THE WYLAM NEIGHBORHOOD. THIS WAS THE SCENE THIS AFTERNOON ON 55TH STREET. INVESTIGATORS SAY TWO MEN GOT INTO A FIGHT AT A NEARBY PARK. One person was taken to a hospital, after being shot in a Birmingham park Wednesday.According to Birmingham police, officers responded to the 5500 block of 14th Avenue in Wylam late in the afternoon and found a male wounded by gunfire.The victim, whose age was not disclosed, was taken to UAB Hospital with a gunshot injury to his stomach area, said police.Police believe two males got into an altercation inside Minnieville Park, then several shots were fired.The victim was taken by private vehicle to a nearby fire station and was then taken by medics to the hospital, police said.A person of interest was identified but there is no word of any arrest being made at this time.Stay up-to-date: The latest headlines and weather from 米兰体育 13
