Officers working a graduation detail spotted Bass, who was wanted for failure to appear on the murder charge, driving near the intersection of Bessemer Road and Avenue W.
When they attempted to stop his vehicle, he drove off, pulling onto I-65 before bailing out on foot and running across the interstate near 16th Street North.
He was taken into custody soon after in the 1300 block of 6th Street North. A witness at the scene told 米兰体育 13 that she saw a man jump a fence into her yard before being tackled by police.
