Video shows Lulu Gribbin surfing for the first time months after shark attack
Less than six months after a bull shark attacked her in the Gulf, Lulu Gribbin got back in the water to surf for the first time.
This time was a little different than before.
The shark attack sent the 15-year-old to the hospital, where she lost both her arm and her leg. She has undergone several surgeries and months of physical therapy.

In a , Gribbin "not only got back in the ocean, but conquered surfing as a double amputee."
The post went on to state that this is "another amazing example of Lulu鈥檚 strength and resilience."

Her community, Mountain Brook, has shown unwavering support, with purple ribbons and a parade when she returned home.
Gribbin has also learned how to golf and returned to school.
