New video from the city of Tuscaloosa shows the moments ICE agents took a University of Alabama student from Iran into custody.

New video released by the city of Tuscaloosa shows the moment a University of Alabama graduate student was taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The video, obtained by 米兰体育 13 through a records request with the city of Tuscaloosa, shows ICE agents walking Alireza Doroudi down Reed Street. The graduate student from Iran appears to be cooperating with the agents. Doroudi is currently working on his doctorate in mechanical engineering at the University of Alabama. He was taken into custody at his apartment in Tuscaloosa last week. Doroudi was initially taken to the Pickens County Jail but has since been moved to an ICE detainment center in Louisiana. In a statement from the Department of Homeland Security, ICE detained Doroudi because he "posed significant national security concerns."However, Doroudi's attorney, David Rozas, said in a statement to 米兰体育 that he had not been informed of any national security issues regarding his client.
