Stephanie Walker is a meteorologist and joined �������� 13 in 2000.

Before coming to Birmingham, she forecast snowstorms and nor’easters while in Scranton, Pennsylvania. From there, her focus became tropical weather and tracking hurricanes in Florida.

Over the last 20 years, Stephanie has covered several significant weather events in central Alabama, including Hurricane Ivan; the deadly tornado outbreak on April 27th, 2011; and the crippling snow and ice storm of 2014, which is often referred to as Snowmageddon.

Stephanie has a science degree in meteorology from Penn State University. She grew up all over the world traveling with her dad who was in the Air Force.
