Before coming to Birmingham, Ayron was a multi-media journalist in Wichita, Kansas.

While there, he covered the state's decision to protect reproductive rights, the 2022 Andover tornado and the University of Kansas' 2022 NCAA basketball championship run.

Ayron graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta and grew up in Wichita, Kansas.
